Every body is connected

The Bridge is a present-day crime thriller exploring the tensions between two neighbouring countries. The series begins when a dead body is found on the bridge connecting the two countries, forcing a detective from each of the two countries to work together to catch a serial killer operating on both sides of the border.

One of the two detectives is charming, but also cunning, and will do whatever it takes to get what they need. This does not sit well with the counterpart, who strictly follows both rules and protocol.

The case leads the detectives into a string of murders on the border, working together to stop the horrific staged murders before the serial killer wins over public opinion with his political agenda.

The police have a breakthrough when their investigation points them towards a tabloid journalist. But as the detectives rush to interview him, they find the journalist trapped in the middle of the killers latest deadly game.

More characters and stories are introduced and become interlinked as the series progresses. In a thrilling end of series finale, the serial killer announces himself and reveals his connection to one of the police detectives, who must work together to stop the killers final revenge plot.
